Blake Comfort
Blake Co-Founded Comfort Communities in 2008 and began working to acquire manufactured home communities in order to build the investment and management company that exists today. Comfort Communities first manufactured home community was purchased in 2009 and has continued to grow and purchase many more manufactured home communities ever since. Blake currently handles all the business development & acquisitions for Comfort Communities.
Jennifer Purcell
Jennifer Co-founded Comfort Communities and brought a professional management and accounting skillset to the team. She previously worked with R&V Management in San Diego to help manage their Multi-family apartment portfolio. Since 2009 she has been working to build the Comfort Communities management team while also coordinating with all of our Investors and business advisors, which has propelled us to where we are today.
Benjamin Schuster
Benjamin “Ben” Schuster leads Capital Formation and Investor Relations for Comfort Capital. Prior to joining Comfort in 2023, Ben spent 7 years at BlackRock, the world’s largest asset manager. At BlackRock, he played a crucial role on the investment team for their $10 billion+ private equity real estate business. Additionally, Ben has years of experience fundraising capital and overseeing investor relations for some of BlackRock’s most prominent
institutional clients. Ben holds a dual degree in Finance and Economics from California State University, Chico, and he has recently graduated from University of San Diego with his Masters of Science in Real Estate. He resides in San Diego with his wife, Heather and young daughter, Rylie
Tide Eldridge
Tide Eldridge is a Partner and the Chief Operations Officer for Comfort
Communities as well as a sitting board member for the manufactured housing association of Arizona. His early management experience came from the fast food industry working with Yum corporation and later the Marble Group out of his home town of San Diego. With aspirations of owning income producing real-estate, he
joined the Comfort team in 2015 and has been developing the management company since. Tide specializes in reforming antiquated properties, having coordinated the installation of hundreds of manufactures homes as well as infrastructure improvement projects in excess of a million dollars. In his personal life, Tide is happily married to his wife, Karly, and is expecting a daughter soon. He also loves his German

Duncan Higgins
Duncan Higgins began his work with Comfort Communities at the start of 2019. Since being introduced to the Comfort Communities office he quickly grew in his knowledge and experience in the real estate realm and began settling into his role in acquisitions. He now specializes directly in the transactional organization and management of new deals as well as takes lead on the loan acquisition for new and existing deals. Since his start he has helped transact over $141 million worth of acquisitions and dispositions. Outside of his work, he enjoys any and all time spent with his wife Nikki and their daughter Emery. Living in the shadows of the mountains of western Idaho, his free time consists of snowboarding, biking, hunting, and fishing.
Austin Gresmer
Austin in the experienced financial controller at Comfort Communities,
overseeing the accounting department and driving financial success of assets. Skilled in financial reporting, tax filing, budget analysis, and operational cash flow monitoring. He has a bachelors of science in accounting with 11+ years of experience in the field. He is an enthusiast of real estate, water sports, and winter sports. Additionally, Austin enjoys driving and cherishes the quality time he spends with his fiancé and four-legged companion.
Michael Kissinger
Michael Kissinger is an accomplished Acquisitions Analyst at Comfort Capital who brings a wealth of knowledge in underwriting, lead management, budgeting, and business development. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Franciscan University, providing him with a strong foundation in financial principles and analysis. Over the past four years, Michael has excelled in meticulously analyzing investment opportunities, ensuring profitable outcomes through thorough due diligence. Michael is a devoted man of God, Husband, and Father of four beautiful children. Outside of work, he is a bit of an automotive enthusiast as well as a gym rat.
Kerry Dyresen
Kerry Dyresen is a senior accountant at Comfort Communities, utilizing her years of property and corporate accounting skills for the company’s property accounting, corporate accounting, employee payroll, and investor distributions. Kerry holds her B.S. in accounting and most recently worked for 14 years on the accounting team at HG Fenton, a San Diego based family-owned company specializing in commercial, multifamily residential, and ground up development of real estate. As an accounting manager at HG Fenton, Kerry led teams and comanaged accounting staff and processes in the areas of commercial property management, ground up development, accounts payable, payroll, and corporate G&A. In her spare time, Kerry enjoys experimenting with new plant based, gluten free recipes, home projects with her husband, Paul, gardening, and everything science fiction.
Bec M. Higgins
Beccy has been a part of the Comfort team since 2019. With little experience in this particular field, she quickly developed the skills to navigate her way through the mobile home park world. While she is the assistant to one of the partners at chief operations officer, she also manages the dealer function in which she oversees all things asset related. She is also the in-house notary which is nothing short of convenient! Her specific skill set allows us to get things done quickly and effectively. Beccy’s persistence gets every job done right, there is nothing she can’t do!

Austin Gutierrez serves as an Accounting Clerk at Comfort Communities, where expertise in financial management and strategic planning plays a pivotal role in enhancing operational efficiency and community value. With a diverse background that spans marketing, sales, and banking, Austin Gutierrez leverages a unique blend of analytical and interpersonal skills to ensure the financial health and growth of the company. Passionate about fostering community engagement and satisfaction, Austin Gutierrez’s contributions are integral to maintaining Comfort Communities’ commitment to creating exceptional living environments for residents and delivering robust returns for investors.
Dasha Battaglia
Dasha Battaglia has been a part of our Comfort Communities team since 2019. Dasha began her journey as a personal assistant to founder Wayne Comfort. Currently, she holds roles in both investor relations and design operations. With an education from QC Career, Dasha achieved certifications as a professional color consultant and home stager. Combining her passion for real estate, design, and client satisfaction, Dasha consistently brings a fresh perspective to our projects, transforming spaces into thriving environments that perfectly capture the essence of comfort and style. Dasha also loves spending time with her family as well as staying active outdoors.
Jonathan Klause
Jonathan Klause is a recent University of San Diego graduate with a dual bachelors of arts in Real Estate& Finance. Originally starting out as an intern for Comfort Capital, he now serves as an analyst. He recently finished schooling at a Bible College in his native area, Orange County, to pursue a deeper spiritual relationship with God. Jonathan spends his free time lifting weights, marathon running, playing with his golden doodle puppy, and happily serving his church every week in kids ministry as well as security
Morgan West
Morgan’s professional experience stems from a legal and tax background specifically working on yacht and aircraft acquisitions with high-profile clients. His transactional background, combined with his entrepreneurial spirit, makes him a key player in driving Comfort Capital’s strategic growth. As a California State University, Chico alumnus he has cultivated a deep appreciation for the outdoors, community, and nurturing relationships. He is a devoted father of two sons and a husband cherishing the life he has built with his high school sweetheart.
Wayne M. Comfort
Wayne started Comfort Construction with his father Willis Comfort in 1970 and Operated successfully for30+ years. They went on to build over 4,000+ apartments and condominiums and more than 1 Million sq.ft. of commercial buildings in San Diego county. In 2006, Wayne moved on to manage Residential Real Estate beginning with a 204-unit apartment complex that he also developed called Woodland Village. In 2008, the Comforts started Comfort Communities for acquiring and managing mobile home parks in addition to the traditional multi-family apartments.
Suzie Garcia
Suzie Garcia is an HR professional with over 8 years of experience in the field. Suzie possesses an HR management certificate and is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Human Resources. Beyond her professional life, Suzie is a devoted mother to three children, a wife, and part of a loving blended family of nine. Originally from the Bay Area, she gradually migrated south over the last 20 years living in Santa Cruz, Bakersfield, and now her home is in Coronado. Suzie is deeply passionate about serving others and aspires to lead at a high level, dedicating herself to both her family and the Comfort team.
